FAQ
What is a client closet?
A client closet is a curated collection of clothing that I have available for complimentary use during your session. I mainly have dresses for Mama, but I have a few pieces for newborns and kiddos.
We can set up a time for try-ons prior to your session.
What if my kid won't cooperate during my photoshoot?
Well, sometimes this happens. It can take a little bit of time for them to loosen up. During our sessions, I like to play games and make sure the kids are enjoying themselves too. Be patient with them, be silly with them and don't get discouraged. Nothing is worse than a group photo with happy kids and scowling parents.
Try to laugh a lot, tickle them, make silly faces, run races.
And if things totally go south, lets talk. Make up sessions can be sceduled at a later date if things really aren't working out.
Where will we take our family photos?
After we select a date to take your photos, I will send you my client guidebook that has all the locations I shoot at with examples to choose from.
The Short & Sweet Session is done at Shawnee Mission Park.

When can I expect to receive my photos?
3-4 weeks is my typical return time. The fall is my busiest season, so if you book a session in August-October, return time may be up to 6 weeks.
What if it rains?
I'll get in touch a couple of days before your session, and if it looks like heavy rain or other poor weather, we can reschedule. Some of my very favorite sessions were done on overcast, rainy days though. The skies can be spectacular!
How do I book a session with you?
Just get in contact and we'll find a suitable date. All I need then is a signed contract and the session deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.
